So u mean its politics and war which makes Islam successful. And you mean Islam is not a religion it's a complete system with all institutions, like all countries which have different institutions.
But you are mixing Quranic texts for different institutions with each another, also you are mixing the civilian institutional laws with military institutional laws. And that's why you see dualism in Islamic laws because you are not differentiating between them, and you just came up with the results with your uncompleted research, though you did researched better then few others.
Muhammad was the best military General in the course of history with less kills and more victories when it is compared with any other military general in past or present
